Light weight and durable. The extended battery life is a plus. Very powerful saw I would put it against any corded saw I've used in the past. If your using it for home use/repairs 1 fully charged battery is more than enough to power through a project. Having the second battery pack is a plus if your...
I put this circular saw to work immediately. The Lithium-Ion battery charges fully within one hour. I began cutting boards I needed for the front deck, and it worked just like it said. Great power and ease of cutting. Really amazing cutting power with a lightweight base. The battery has a long life,...
This is a very nice cordless saw. The set comes with 2 batteries, a charger, the saw, one blade and a carry bag. The saw is powerful and cuts with ease and the led light makes seeing your path easy.
In my humble opinion Milwaukee makes high quality well designed tools and this saw fits right in. I used this saw all afternoon today and got to know it pretty well. I founds lots of pros and a couple of cons: Pros: - Lots of power. It is more like a corded power tool than a battery powered tool. I...
Excellent saw. Blades should be be thicker on the 6 1/2" saw. Great power. Great Accuracy. Built shed with this saw. Did not come with saw width guide though.
Out of the box my saw had a faulty spindle stop. Luckily I work walking distance from a Milwaukee service center and they repaired it at no cost. It took a week though. I couldn't take it back and exchange it because there wasn't any in stock to begin with and I ordered it online. The spindle stop b...
The M18 Fuel 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw is the fastest cutting 18-volt cordless circular saw I've ever used. It is awesome and the battery last a long time. I have ripped 16 feet long 2X12 with this tool, this is the best saw I've ever owned.
Best battery saw I ever had, maktika can't compare to this saw.
So far, great! I love the weight to power ratio and for cutting most projects on the job, it works just like a line voltage saw. I used it to cut wood, pressure treated wood, cement based siding and aluminum. It had no problem with any of the materials. The good side is that the blade is on the left...
It's simply the best. All of the other ones advertise as the best, this one is the best I have used so far. Whether you are doing concrete work and are simply cutting support 2x4's or smaller jobs that don't require a lot of use, this is the best. Though I do believe you could do a lot larger projec...
This saw has incredible power and accuracy for a cordless tool. I am currently building a very large fence and this saw easily handles the pickets and the 2x4's. Cutting 4x4's require two cuts, but still cuts through like warm butter. The blade brake also gives me a lot of piece of mind and also let...
This is a nice, light, easy to use saw with good functionality. This saw will only work with the 48-11-1828 high capacity battery. It will not work with the 48-11-1815 compact battery. HD could do a better job of letting buyers know this so they get the right battery. I bought it online, and it arri...
I added this to my M18 set a year or so ago, and have been pretty happy with it; but it has it's limitations. The build quality is top notch, but it will NOT replace a corded grinder for heavy duty work, or use with large surface area disks (like paint removal pads) in any but the smallest applicati...
Works well. Balanced. Thought batteries would last longer, luckily no big grinding jobs. Two batteries are a must...I think I'll end up with a third. It's nice not being tied to a cord all the time. Added it to my M18 drill and impact. Not sure yet what's to be added next.
i have had both the old 28 volt and the old 18 volt lithium ion saws and both of them were junk good enough to cut a board on the roof or some thing really small thats about it wouldn't even cut plywood well but now i have the m18 and wow!!! I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A CORDED SAW its a night and day differ...
I was skeptical when I bought this not believing that a battery powered grinder could really be very handy. I was proven wrong this is now my go to tool for all kinds of jobs. It will not replace a corded grinder for heavy work but is great for doing quick jobs. The XC batteries are a must as this w...
I am a huge fan of Milwaukee cordless tools. Their M18 line consistently delivers quality workmanship and batteries with enough juice to be seriously considered as alternatives to corded models. The 2630 circular saw is no exception. The saw itself is top quality, allowing you to make easy, accurat...
Powerful, fast and the battery last forever. Used it to cut up 3/4 inch dried plywood for a train layout for my son. I got tried before it ran out of juice! Well balanced, no kickback and no cord. A great saw
Excellent torque and smooth cutting. left side blade makes for good visual cutting line.
This product is very easy to use, and has great features, like to automatic brake.
Questions & Answers
Can this saw be used with the batteries and charger that came with my M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2 in. Drill Driver Compact Kit
Yes, this tool can be used with ANY M18 battery!
Sure can! As long as you're using M18 Batteries for M18 Tools you're all set and ready to tackle just about anything. You won't need to haul around different batteries for different tools - those days are long gone and I for one am sure glad of that!! Please make sure you're using M18 (LI-Ion) and NOT the old style 18Volt (Ni-Cad) Milwaukee batteries - 18Volt batteries will not work with M18 systems and the 18Volt battery's are unsafe to use on Li-Ion system and tools. Stay Safe and Build Us a Better World!
yes but the 27 watt batteries will not last long about 1.25 amp hour that come with the drill. Use a 5.0 amp hour
No.... have to have M-12 battery and charger.
I need a fence to go with this saw I just purchased. I thought the fence would come with the saw...
The fence is supposed to be with the tool only. Part # is 49-22-2731. Contact Milwaukee Tool customer service to get a fence sent to you.
It never comes with any tools made by Milwaukee or any other tool maker.
Why doesn't Milwaukee make all of its 18v cordless power tools compatible with both the M18 and M18-XC batteries?
All Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM batteries will fit on all M18 tools. This change was made available by the additional power and run-time that REDLITHIUM provides.
the xc are made for all the real tools and the smaller ones are made to be cheap so they can get there name out there and hoe use for home owners . and a small 18v would last such a small amount of time on the bigger tools it would made the tool look like junk so they wouldn't sell
I can't speak for the m18 sawzall, but I have the m18 circular saw and it takes my compact batteries, not just the XC ones.
You actually can use the standard M18 batteries in any of the M18 tools - both the standard and XC batteries have the same connection. However, the standard batteries drain so fast on some applications that doing so is impractical. I did this when my two XC batteries were charging, and I could only saw for a few seconds before it stopped working.
Can this be used as a polisher???
No, this can not be used as a polisher.
I wouldn’t use it ! They do have a model with variable speed .
It depends on what you want to polish. An angle grinder can do a good job polishing steel, but I would never use one to polish my car.
No. No random orbit, it will leave swirls.
