works great! batteries charge fast. quiet impacts. have always been told that makita cordless tools last the longest, so we shall put it to the test and see. one down side (getting use to) is the direction button is very easy to switch accidentally when i go to grab the trigger. not a deal breaker,...
Very nice product, has all the power I need to bust off lug nuts
I see no need to turn on my compressor anymore. This could very well be the end of pneumatic tools.
Made rotation of the tires on my F250 that much easier. No air compressor/hoses needed, just slap in a battery and remove lug nuts. Lowest torque setting is more than sufficient to torque lug nuts back down, let it hammer a couple times, checked with torque wrench, and all were within a half turn of...
Makita is a great and reliable professional brand. No matter what Makita tool I buy it always ends up exceeding my expectations, and this impact driver is no exception. It actually replaced a Matco Tools impact driver, as I'm converting all my electric cordless tools over to Makita, and it blows my...
Good
Light duty is not in this tools vocabulary! It will turn the nuts and bolts off of whatever you put it up against! I’ve used it to remove and replace leaf springs, lug nuts and many other applications. The batteries hold their charge for a long time and it is not so big that you need 2 hands to use

Was able to remove the lug nuts on my F250 with ease, didn't even struggle a little.
This will absolutely remove any rusted nut, that a socket can grab & still has visible thread on the bolt. I live up in the PA rust belt & have taken this thing to my local Pick a Part, and stripped down entire brake & suspension set ups on 20+ year old vehicles, with ease! You won't be disappointed in this Impact at all.
It will break them if they are stuck. Has almost double the tork as my air impact. I used it on medium to remove lugnuts like a breeze.
Any available in your Juneau Alaska store
It available at my store by gateway mall
This is the most powerful 1/2" drive impact on the market! It has monster power and the internal parts are not just the same as all the other impacts. Metals gears, quality machining, led light, 3 speeds. You can tell when you hit the trigger and it starts to impact it hammers the bolt very hard. I...
This tool does everything and is really tough and looks feels and performs like a real pro tool.
The first thing I tried was a lug nut on a Freightliner, and it hit for a second a pulled it off. The second thing was a backing plate on a forklift, I know my old IR 1/2 can't do it, and it pulled the bolts off. OK its heavy, a little larger than the pictures make it look. I guess Blue is slimming....
It's hard to imagine that much torque coming from a battery powered wrench. It's a great tool!
This thing is a beast.. I have not found a bolt yet that it cannot take loose.
Awesome tool. This thing ripped off rusted on lug nuts on my 1/2 ton truck. I tried several air impact wrenches before hand that couldn't do the job. This thing did it quick and was so much easier than setting up a air compressor. Just charge it and rip. I recommend the 5.0 Ah battery to go with it...
This tool is so strong you have to careful not to break bolts.
very happy with it.
The impact wrench is a bit too big, but it does pack a punch. I'm able to remove a lot of seized bolts from older cars. Only pair it with good impact sockets so you don't strip any bolts.
This impact driver is awesome. If it won't break it loose, it will break it off. I love my Makita tools.
