See priceI actually bought this to occasionally remove the lug nuts from my Silverado to rotate the tires, make other repairs and bring along on road trips, should I get a flat and need a quick fix. Normally, an impact wrench is called for but this was a much cheaper option so I thought it was worth a try. T...
Works great it is a beast. I prefer this over the Milwaukee even though the Milwaukee is a workhorse itself. You will not be dissapointed with this purchase.
I love this driver, huge power and so much easier to work with than a drill. Save the drill for making holes, get this for driving screws and bolts into anything. Amazing product Makita!
Compare with Dewalt DCF885, the Pros and Cons: Pros: -Brush less and spine fast -Noise sounds more comfortable and lower sound level -Slight more compact than Dewalt -High capacity of battery 3AH has charge level indication on battery -Shank spin responsive and respond quicker -Lighter is bet...
I bought the hammer drill and impact driver set for Christmas. My first test with the impact driver as to remove a lawn mower blade from a old law mower that needed the blade sharpened. I thought this Makita 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless 1/4 in. Cordless Impact Driver would undo the 9/16 bolt w...
You won't find a better impact driver with a battery for a better price, as long as this is still $100 at Homer. The charger is a lower grade model (no fan and no jingle) but the impact is the same brushless model included in their $300-400 sets, and the battery is a 3.0AH with the fuel gauge so...
Awesome tool with some seriously amazing power. Bought this and it drive screws into deck with zero effort. The only reason I returned it was because it didn't have a low torque setting and magnetic plate for holding bits, screws etc. I have been spoiled by Ryobi's magnetic base on their impact s...
This is an excellent impact driver. It is powerful, quiet and the ergonomics are excellent. I do like the 3amp battery but for the dyi person a smaller 2ah battery would suffice for handling.Love the battery indicators for remaining power. Will buy the matching drill when it goes on sale for $99.
I have owned a number of Makita products (Table saw, corded and cordless power tools) and have been very happy with them. That is why I purchased the cordless impact driver. Be careful though because a month after I purchased it the battery failed to hold a charge. I was well inside the warranty per...
It's been said already, but this thing is a beast. tons of power. quiet too. battery last longer than I thought, which speaks well for the efficiency of the brushless motor. I do wish it had the dual range of the more expensive models, but hey, thats why they cost more. Got mine on special for $99

BUILT BY J A PAN COMPANY!!! WOW!! I WOULD HAVE BET IT WAS CHINA! EVERYTHING IS MADE IN CHINA ANYMORE
Very impressed. It's both compact, balanced well & powerful, has a hard case, charging base, and 3.0 Ah battery. The charging base is fast and has a cooling fan and plays a tune to let you know the battery is charged. I will always be the craftsman who drills pilot holes in wood and applies a sma...

Ive been using Makita products for 20 years or more. Never let me down yet and believe me, I USE them!
After only having Black and Decker tools prior, I decided to upgrade my drill. This has been a fantastic investment and the battery holds up like a champ. Had a flat tire in my driveway, and using this tool, it took the lugnuts off with no hesitation and no problem. I will be purchasing more Mak...
Great product would buy again very powerful easy on the wrist
Everything I needed! Much easier to drive screws than a cordless drill!
I bought this kit because I wanted to add the 3 amp battery and additional charger to my existing Makita kit. I really didn't think I would use the driver very much but actually it is very nice to have. It is surprisingly light and compact as well as having more power than I expected. It is a gre...
