Great tool 1200 ft lbs of breakaway torque!! That's amazi
Reaching 79 the tool restored my ability to tackle auto jobs that I had placed on my use to list. Has removed tight bolts with no effort and made my work much easier. Guys in my age bracket that still like to do mechanic work should really consider buying this tool. It's a great not having to drag a...
I work on the farm so I bought this to help remove the nuts and bolts on a 1940 tractor disc that was rusted up and the dewalt Rock it like nothing. A must buy!!!
Bought this to take with me on RV trips just in case I needed to change a tire on the road. Used it to work on my 1 Ton Truck just to try it out and this thing is great. It took off the lugs with no problem and I wound up using it to replace the front wheel bearing hub assemblies. It spun the axle n...
This impact seems to have as much torque as my Ingersoll Rand.
By far the best thing I've purchased in a while. Works great and is lightweight. I recommend if you work on cars or anything else that requires high torque tools
I was a little concerned that this impact might be too powerful for most of what I use it for but that has not been the case. In fact, if anything it doesn't hit as hard as I expected. To be fair, I haven't used any of the competitions cordless impacts in 1/2 inch. I haven't used this tool much, but...
I own a snap on and the older model dewalt impact , by far this is the strongest . It is a little too heavy . But solid. I love it
The cordless impact wrench works as intended. Great power, but a little heavy.
This impact made my job a lot easier by just having one tool to remove and torque big bolts and nuts. Having three torque settings allows me to regulate the power. This is a big boys tool and I love it!!
I’m a Truck & Coach / Heavy Equipment technician and this 1/2” impact does the job as well as any cordless i’ve used - Snapon Monster Lithium included. Can’t beat the price, batteries are easy to find anywhere at a reasonable price. I’ve used mine and co-workers in the field and they stand up to p...
I’ve used the Milwaukee 1/2 inch impact from friends. Was wondering if the Dewalt would be just as good. Very surprised. Only bad thing I can say about this is the Milwaukee feels better in the hand. Mechanically speaking I would take the Dewalt 1/2 inch.

how does it compare to ....
I have 12V Max 3/8″ impact wrench from MAC tools and 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless 1/2 in. Impact Wrench from dewalt. For me dewalt is more powerful, quit and better price
I do not know about the other brands you mentioned but this one is very impressive! Dissembling 40-50 year old cars that have been sitting in a field for at least 25 years is a breeze. Not to many bolts it wont take off in fact in two years of use and several complete tear downs, lots of use on tractor, motor home etc. I can only remember a couple i needed the 3 foot breaker bar. Will last all day on the 5Ah battery. And the 3 different speeds comes in handy for the smaller jobs. Very nice tool!
Don't know about the Snap on but I can tell this this Dewalt is a (BEAR). I can only compare to the Ryobis, my Son and Uncle each have one and they aren't even a little bit close to my Dewalt for torque power. I do have a Mac and a Snap On air 1/2 drive and I believe the Dewalt is a little better for power compared to them but it is close. Ps. We run the shop compressor at 180 lbs and I am comparing the Dewalt to the air tools at that pressure. I work on farm equipment quite regularly and this thing has made my life much easier in the field. I think it was well worth the price.
I THINK IT MAY BE ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE GOT IN A LONG LONG TIME,GOT LOT'S OF POWER AND NO CORD JUST A GREAT ITEM.
